Overview
Jeanne is designed to provide operational context and recommendations for theme park visits. We aim to collect only information that is reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.
This policy applies to the Jeanne public website and, where applicable, Jeanne account and application features.
Information we may collect
When you visit the public website, technical information may be processed as part of delivering and protecting the service, such as IP address, request time, browser or device information, requested URLs, and security-related signals.
If you contact Jeanne, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, optional Instagram username, message, contact reason, and related correspondence.
When you use the app, Jeanne creates or receives an installation identifier, an internal user identifier, app and operating system version information, preferred languages, and, if you enable notifications, an Apple Push Notification service token.
Jeanne stores the favorites, alert rules, notification state, and related product interactions that you configure so it can personalize the service and deliver requested alerts.
For in-app purchases, Jeanne receives verified StoreKit transaction proofs and stores product and transaction identifiers, purchase date, App Store environment, a hashed App Transaction identifier, and the resulting access status. Jeanne does not receive or store your payment card or bank account details.
Jeanne records limited technical request and diagnostic data needed to operate and protect the service. This can include the internal user identifier, IP address, request path and method, response status and error code, request duration, app and operating system versions, device platform, app build, preferred language, user agent, content type, and network security identifiers.
How information may be used
Information may be used to operate and personalize the app, deliver requested alerts, verify and restore purchases, provide customer support, maintain security, prevent abuse and fraud, troubleshoot technical problems, and improve service reliability.
Jeanne does not sell personal information to advertisers and does not use the app data described in this policy to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. If our practices materially change, this policy will be updated.
Service providers
Jeanne may rely on infrastructure and service providers that process limited information on our behalf to deliver, secure, host, authenticate, or operate the service.
Cloudflare is used at the network edge for connectivity, traffic management, and security. Apple processes purchases through the App Store and notification delivery through Apple Push Notification service. Each provider may process information according to its role and applicable terms.
Cookies and similar technologies
The public Jeanne website does not use a language cookie to select among English, Portuguese, and Spanish; the selected language is represented in the URL.
The public site is not currently designed around advertising or optional tracking cookies. Cloudflare or future authenticated application features may use technologies that are strictly necessary for security, traffic management, or session operation. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Data retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain security and service integrity, or to satisfy applicable legal obligations. Retention periods can vary by data type and operational need.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, which can include requesting access, correction, deletion, or information about how data is handled.
You may contact Jeanne to make a privacy-related request. Some information may need to be retained where permitted or required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.
Security
Jeanne uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
International processing
Jeanne and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, we use service providers and safeguards intended to support lawful handling of that information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Jeanne evolves or as legal and operational requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will indicate the current version.
